Description
This agreement establishes responsibility for operations of signals around all new interchanges. The local agency will be responsible for operating and maintaining traffic signals at ramp locations. The local agency must allow the installation of ramp queue detection technology if it becomes necessary. The agreement with DuPage Division of Transportation for the Army Trail Road / I–355 interchange was the first of this type.
