This is a mandated safety system which tracks train locations and has the ability to notify operators and change train operations remotely in response to detected hazardous situations such as imminent collisions and noncompliance with operating speed regulations.

It also supports automated dispatch of transit vehicles. Current vehicle schedule adherence and optimum scenarios for schedule adjustment are also provided.
