This project includes the use of cameras and speed detection for automatic ticketing of speeding vehicles. The focus is on safety speed zones (schools and parks). The cameras are also capable of capturing traffic volume and speed data, which can be accessed by CDOT. There are plans to expand CDOT access to system cameras to view live video streams.
