CDOT Mobile Technologies to Measure Travel Times Using Probe Vehicles
Description
This project currently measures travel time using CTA buses as probes. The information is provided on the CDOT http://www.chicagotraffictracker.com/ website and the Gateway Traveler Information System. This has been expanded to cover other Chicago Roadways. There are no plans to further expand the system.
