Description
This agreement between the University of Illinois at Chicago & IDOT is for operations, maintenance and enhancement of the Gateway Traveler Information System and Travel Midwest websites, including www.travelmidwest.com, www.iltrafficalert.com, www.travelmidweststats.com, www.idotlcs.com (lane closure system) and the Travel Midwest mobile application available for iPhones and Android devices.
Stakeholders for this agreement extend beyond the stakeholders of the northeastern Illinois ITS Architecture, and currently include the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), and Minnesota Department of Transportation represented by State Departments of Transportation (other). Expansion of the Gateway to cover the entire State of Illinois and the members of the Great Lakes Regional Transportation Operations Coalition (GLRTOC) will further increase the number of stakeholders for the agreement who are not stakeholders for the northeastern Illinois ITS Architecture.
